A Christmas Pizza Box



This cute little pizza box is ideal for those really little gifts, such as jewellery, gift cards, chocolates and more.


Here's the instructions and materials used.


Pizza Box

Items Required: American Crafts card stock – Dandelion, 29cm x 18cm & 4cm x 6cm
Doodlebug design Inc – Christmas Classic (1753) 12cm x 10cm
American Crafts 12 x 12 papers – Christmas garland greetings (35199)
American Crafts 12 = 12 papers- Christmas carols & cards (35207) 4cm x 6cm
Red, green, gold striped 3mm grosgrain ribbon x 10cm
Star gems
Red Merry Christmas 10mm grosgrain ribbon x 25cm
Lead pencil, rule, scissors, doubles sided tape, foam tape





1. Along the long side of the large piece of card stock, measure and mark the following measurements: 3cm, 10cm, 3cm, 10cm, 3cm. Along the short side mark 3cm, 12cm, 3cm.


2. Score and fold along the dotted lines. Cut along the heavy black lines.
3. Fold up both ‘B” edges.
4. Tape the “A:” corners inside the “b “edges. Do the same with the ‘C’ corners. This should form the base of the box. You may like to trim the corners diagonally as indicated above for a neater finish.
5. To form the top of the box, tape the corner “E” pieces inside the ‘D” edges. This will form the top of the box.
6. Your box should now open and close like a pizza box.
7. Around the top edges of the lid of the box attach the Merry Christmas ribbon
8. Attach the Doodlebug Christmas Classics paper to the top of the box.
9. Cut out two hollies’s from the American Crafts Christmas garland greetings. Using foam tape; attach these to the top of the box in opposite corners.
10. From the smaller piece of dandelion card cut out a tag shape. Cut the same tag shape from the American Crafts Christmas carols and cards paper. Trim this to be smaller than the dandelion tag and attach to the top of the box in the left hand top corner.
11. Loop the red/gold/green 3mm grosgrain ribbon and adhere behind the tag. Adhere this to the top of the box.
12. Add a star jewel to the tag and in the opposite corner to the tag add 3 star jewels
This box can be made from 1 sheet of A4 or 12 x 12 cardstock. It's also great for using up all those left over scraps of paper and embellishments.

Counting down to Christmas

The count down to Christmas has begun, crafters every where are madly searching for ideas or working on projects to give as gifts for Christmas.

Sometimes searching for that just something to present your gift in can take more time that actually making the gifts. This cute little treat box is ideal for all your home bakes goodies, trinklets, or to fill with chocolates and other bits and pieces.


Christmas Food Pail


: American Craft 12 x 12 papers – Carols & cards varnish (35207)
: Doodlebug Inc 12 x 12 paper – Chocolate Truffle (1778)
: Glue on /self stick small gems or rhinestones
: White card stock
: Red Merry Christmas grosgrain ribbon – 45 cm
: Red/green/gold striped 3 mm grosgrain ribbon – 60cm
: Red 3mm grosgrain ribbon – 10cm
: Green 3 mm grosgrain ribbon – 10cm
: 26 oz white food pail


1.Carefully cut the flaps off the food pail.
2.Using the carols and cards varnish paper cut 4 pieces measuring 10cm across the top and 8cm across the bottom and 10cm on the side. The pieces will look like this.

3.With 2 of the pieces measure in 1cm of both sides and score. These are the sidepieces. You will also need to cut away a small channel from the top to allow for the handles.

4.Using double sided tape attach sidepieces to the box folding the edges over.

5.Attach the remaining 2 pieces to the front and back.

6.Wrap the Merry Christmas ribbon around the top edge of the box over lapping the ends (this will cover any crooked edges of the box and papers.)

7.Cut the 3mm striped grosgrain ribbon into 7 cm strips – you will need 8 pieces.

8.Tie these to the handle.

9.Draw 2 small gingerbread men on the white card stock and cut out.

10.Cover 1 gingerbread man in the chocolate truffle paper and trim. Use the small gems for eyes buttons and a nose. Using foam tape, attach the gingerbread man to the front of the box.

11.Attach the 3mm red and green grosgrain ribbon to the back of the remaining gingerbread man to create a tag. Tie in place with a piece of the stripe ribbon.

12.Fill with lots of goodies
